Father Treacy, one of the founders of Camp Brotherhood and the the TV show Challenge, spoke to our club last Monday night. He told his story of how he came to USA from Ireland, landed in Seattle, became friends with a rabbi and together they created Camp Brotherhood with the goal of stimulating religious unity. He also was part of a TV show that two Rotarians approached him about doing. The focus of the TV show was discussions among religious leaders of different topics. His overall message was one of hope of the healing of divisions in humanity. We all left the room feeling lifted.
