At our Sept. 14 Rotary Meeting
Tara Pasternak came to pick up the eyeglasses that she and Randy will take to Bolivia for the Etta Project.
Holly Witte, a lapsed Rotarian from Seattle, who now resides in La Conner and is part of the La Conner Arts Commission, thanked our Rotary for sponsoring the USA 250 coloring book. The Arts Commission is now requesting support to have the creation story panels created by Kevin Paul and Camus Logue translated into Lushootseed. The panels hang on the Historical Museum and have an English description. The Arts Commission has submitted a grant to our Foundation.
Connie provided the inspiration from a Facebook post by her cousin.

Auction
Audrey read us the Auctioneer’s Report and discussed some of the things that went well and others that require improvement. If we start now, we can have an even more successful auction in 2027.
