In addition, for local children the Rotary Club sponsors the annual Halloween pumpkin painting party and the Christmastime Santa Breakfast.

Regionally, the club pays for programs that send SkagitCounty youth to leadership seminars and young professional adults on overseas exchanges.

Internationally, La Conner Rotary supports a mobile library that serves rural areas of Guatemala where children have little access to reading material. And the club donates money to the Rotary International Foundation, which is working to eliminate polio, provide safe drinking water and improve the lives of people throughout the world.

Individually, club members donate time in many local and international causes. Each week Rotarians tutor La Conner children who have trouble keeping up in school. And several times a year local Rotarians pay their own travel expenses to help to administer polio vaccines and provide medical care for children born with birth defects in developing nations.
