Linda Clark joined us to talk about SWOOSH fundraising to benefit the gas station at the entrance to town. The building needs a complete interior overhaul - black mold, asbestos, lead, roofing all need some attention. The goal is to raise about $60,000 for building improvements to make the space available to our community again. The property owner will offer a dollar for dollar rent reduction if she becomes a tenant.
She is hoping it could become a space that someone could bring in a business. She herself has a business that sells smoothies and healthy meal replacement bars.
